TQ 06872 47682   River looking good - quite a few cased caddis (goeridae). Quite warm and humid - river looking ok - clean gravel, but no weed established yet. Very few caddis, otherwise reasonable invertebrate numbers. BWO taken over from heptageniidae. 100s of small (3mm) conical snails and one signal crayfish. Shrimps prolific but numbers noticeably less than in middle beat.
